Your collection, printing by printing.
Each card is kept as the exact printing you own, so two copies from different sets never get mixed up.
- Set, number, finish and printed language
- Works offline and syncs when you're back
Scan a card and Codexa finds the exact printing, keeps it in your Vault, helps you build legal decks, and answers rules questions with the rule numbers to back them up.
Codexa outlines the card and captures it on its own, or with the shutter if you prefer.
You see the set, number, finish and language it found. When two printings look alike, you choose.
Choose how many copies and it's in your Vault, ready to use in a deck or to ask about.
Each card is kept as the exact printing you own, so two copies from different sets never get mixed up.
Pick a format and Codexa checks the deck as you build: size, copy limits, banned cards, commander colors and the sideboard.
Ask in your own words, by text or by voice. The assistant answers from the official rulebook and the card's rulings, and lists the rules it used.
Tell it a leader or a style and it suggests cards, starting with the ones you already own. You accept or skip each one, and steer it with plain words like "more removal".
Codexa shows no ads and never sells your data or uses it for advertising.
Scan photos go to our recognizer, and questions to our AI provider to write the answer. The privacy policy lists every piece.
Delete your account and everything in it from the app, instantly. No waiting period.
Magic: The Gathering, the One Piece Card Game, the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the Gundam Card Game. You choose which ones show up in the app.
It can, because it's AI. But unlike a general chatbot, Codexa is built specifically to keep rules mistakes to a minimum, and every answer lists the rules it's based on so you can check them. If one is wrong, report it. We use every report to make the assistant better. Judges and the official rules always have the last word.
Scanning and the assistant need one. Your Vault and decks stay on the phone, and what you change offline syncs when you're back online.
Scanning, the Vault and decks are free. The assistant comes with a free daily allowance of questions.
No. Codexa is an unofficial fan app, not affiliated with or endorsed by the games' publishers.
The app speaks English and Spanish. Each card is kept in the language it's printed in: you can pick a card's language when you add it, and choose, for each game, the language the assistant suggests cards in. Want Codexa in your language? Tell us with Send feedback in your Profile and we'll look at adding it.
